Saviola ruined his own career. He refused to take a paycut and refused to leave Barcelona even though he was told repeatedly that he had no future there.

Then he leaves and signs with Real Madrid, knowing full well that he'll never get a chance to play with Ruud and Raul ahead of him.

He's a greedy lil bastard. Good player though.
