Mclaren gave up some crucial points this past weekend and let Ferrari back into the championship.

I didn't end up watching the whole race (showed live here really, really late), but the bit that I did watch. Hamilton's car was losing a fair bit of speed. Was that due to the tyres he was using, or was it another issue?
