I love sparky, and you lot sure do already know it. I have so much respect for him as a player, mostly for bringing back the art of the volley to old trafford. That reputation is only enhanced by his managing. That said, to step into the shoes of the world's greatest club right from the off is not an easy job, especially when it's Fergie's shoes you're filling.

You're 100 per cent correct to say that to step into Fergie's shoes is not an easy job.
For me, that applies to both Querioz and Sparky, as far as i'm concerned it's a much of a muchness as to who eventually gets the job, but if you had to twist my arm i'd probably prefer Sparky Hughes to get it.
Not that Querioz getting it would particularly bother me, he'd probably do as good a job.
