i dont think its about who wins the CL but perhaps who gets the most hype during the champions league and the best run towards the end of the season.

Success must come into the equation here. They are less likely to give it to someone who hasnt won a major trophy.

If ronaldo doesnt win this one then there is something very wrong. Messi has been good, so has kaka but ronaldo this season is just in a league of his own. He got better as the season progressed and he is tearing the smaller teams apart now, he just needs to do the same to the big teams too.

Either way i dont like this award.

It just goes to attackers most of the time and rarely considers defensive players unless they are overhyped.
