Maybe, I'm being cynical about the world, but I truly believe that cures for diseases and medical conditions come down to the dollar. Especially for drug companies.

If they can't make a buck, don't expect a cure for anything, anytime soon.

This could very well be an example. A major breakthrough, which obviously will require money and possible drugs for treatment.

If the companies/governments dont' see a reasonable profit, you can forget about a cure.

This is great work though. Hopefully something productive comes from it.
