Bayern have shareholders so its not sugar daddy money. real is shady. Milan is 'owned'. i dont know about lyon. Barca has shareholders.
I don't disagree w/the fact that the big clubs have bought big name players but i think there is a difference when it comes to having a Glazer, Roman, Berlusconi vs. having shareholders.
EDIT: Bayern's spending this year was financed by their own profits so we are cool
