Comparing his performances in the CL and premiership is ridiculous in the first place, because it isn't like this was Chelsea, last week of the year and his foot stopping a Drogba block buster is what clinches the title. A win or a loss of the Premiership title is due to a number of small innocuous events that in aggregate make the difference. His innocuous mistake cost us at least a point; a point that isn't made up by a meaningless goal in a meaningless Champions League game.
