Michal Carrick is a weird player.. It's hard to figure him out and what exactly his strenths are (apart from acurate passing). I don't mean this in a negative way but don't think it souds too possitive either..

he contributed to last year success. No question about it. Seems like now with all those midfielders in the team waiting on line for a starting place his confidence is getting affected. I guess he doesn't handle competition well.

Hopefully we can find a proper role for him. One that he feels confident in it and that motivates him as well.

What bothers me about him is his lack of pace and ( sometimes) lack of passion. If playing for Manchester United can't motivate a player I'm not sure what can...
