nava_31,

imo, Darren Gibson and Frazier Campbell look to have the most promising futures with United.

As mentioned by you, Gibson was with the first team until the Carling Cup exit. Since joining the Wolves, he has been on a terrific run. Sure the midfield is packed, but there will be departures and I think that Gibson can make a mark with the first team.

Mr. Campbell needs a lil more time developing his skills, but there is no doubt that he is programmed to score at will. His goal rate with Hull has been very good. He'll probably need another season on loan with a Championship side to see how he truly fares.

I think the biggest disappointment to me has been Phil Bardsley. He looked really good a couple seasons ago, and just hasnt' been able to break the side. He had two golden loan opportunities with Villa and Rangers to make an impression, but both stints were a lil to be desired. Expecting him to be sold.

Moving along to more transfer news,

Chesterfield have signed Manchester United winger Michael Barnes on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old could make his debut against Grimsby on Saturday.

Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson told the club website: "He is an exciting prospect and we are delighted Sir Alex Ferguson has allowed him to join us."

Meanwhile Chesterfield's Josh Law will stay at Alfreton Town on loan until the end of the season and Jamie Jackson's loan at Matlock has been extended.

Jackson will stay with the non-league side for a second month.
