With Italy U21 star Giuseppe Rossi already on their books, United are preparing to raid Lazio's Allievi team for 15 year-old Macheda. United must wait until August 22 to secure the youngster as a 16 year-old, but so confident are they of a deal, United are already preparing a compensation package for Lazio.
United intend to move the Macheda family to Manchester and an agreement is close. For their part, Lazio management have already included Macheda in their senior squad's preseason camp in Austria, but are resigned to losing the striker.

Whats the point? We buy him, he scores bucketloads for reserves. He will be sent out on loan for 2-3 years and then we will loan him to parma. He will impress there and Parma will bid 7m quid and we will accept.
Yes I am bitter that Rossi is not being given the chance he deserves. If fletcher and Richardson can be given numerous chances than so can be Rossi.
