With the amount of money United spend on there academy... why aren't we seeing more players make it through to the first team?

Look at the squad now. The last bunch from the academy to make it are Brown, O'Shea and Fletcher. When I mean make it, I mean sticking with the first team.

You mean to tell me that no player has not been good enough to make it since these three?

I understand the need for Manchester United to compete finding talent aboard and I understand that the rule changes in bringing in talent (I believe its a 90 mile radius. Sir Alex is trying to get changed back to no radius) makes things difficult. But seriously, United should be able to produce one player every 3 years that can play on the first team well.

Why can't there be a balance between growing talent from the academy and finding players from abroad?

Whats your take on this?
