First off: I hate the Oscars.
Anyway, I haven't seen most of the movies nominated this year. I've heard some really good things about No Country (I saw half of it online before it cut out...looks brilliant) and am waiting impatiently for the DVD release. Same thing goes for There Will be Blood. Clooney has really become a very good actor and Michael Clayton has been another movie on my "to see" list. 3:10 to Yuma was one of the few movies I saw in theaters this year and I really enjoyed it. I thought Bale was superb and out acted Crowe (who was also excellent). I can't believe that Juno is up for best picture. I had no idea it was anything more than your average romantic comedy.
2008 looks to be a movie lover's paradise: Batman, Indy, Bond, Star Trek, Narnia, Harry Potter, etc
BTW...did you guys know that Heath Ledger (28) died today?!?!?!
