I think its stupid not to play him, he has proven so many people wrong, worked so hard over the years and took all the shit people threw at him. He is percieved by some as arrogant but from what ive seen from him he is actually a nice guy. He is also a great player and you can fault his work ethic.
Fabio is obviously not here to make friends.

I'd agree with that 100%. I, personally, think that Beckham is invaluable to the England squad. I think his skill set means that he's capable of playing long after others' have to retire. However, this is all irrelevant because I think Beckham deserves 100 caps. It costs the England squad, the England fans, the FA, and Capello NOTHING to at least put him on the pitch for 10 minutes in a friendly. The guy deserves at least that, if nothing more. It's pretty sickening, though, how McClaren needed to "make an example" by dropping Beckham only to call him back to try and save his skin (which Beckham almost helped do) and now Capello may be doing the exact same thing.
Would the Croatia result have been different had Beckham started? It didn't take long for a Beckham cross to Crouch to find the back of the net once he was introduced. England win when Beckham plays. Don't be a fool Capello (and at the very least, don't be an ass.)
