Yea I'm concerned at the timing of his return as well. I'd have preferred it be sooner rather than later as it'll give him just a little more time to adjust to the pace of things before the crunch time of our season really kicks into gear.

Well, it seems SAF has some big plans for one Mr. Neville. He's tipped to face Roma.

The right-back made one reserve comeback against Stockport County in the Manchester Senior Cup at the start of the month but suffered another KO soon after and hasn't featured in the second string XI since.

He was expecting to play in Thursday's match at Northwich against Sunderland but wasn't in the line-up, sparking more concern over his career.

But Reds' boss Sir Alex Ferguson has calmed the fears.

"Gary Neville is training with us," says Sir Alex.

"If he comes through next week then I am going to take him to Rome with us and play him in the Roma game on December 12.

"He could have played in the reserves on Thursday but he wanted to continue his training with us and get to a good level with us.

"He is coming along. He is not far away now. There were no fresh scares. It begs the question when he didn't play in the reserves but he preferred to train with us.

"We agreed with that because it is important to get plenty of good training sessions before he starts playing in games."

Neville was originally injured in an accidental collision with Bolton's Gary Speed in March when he suffered his ankle ligament trouble. He has since missed 36 United matches.

I hope Hargreaves' calf strain was no big deal and he will be fine in no time.
He just got his game going for him, hopefully he will be back in no time.

To get injured while warming up for the game must be really annoying.

Park fillip for United - Man Utd - TEAMtalk Football News

looks like Park is back pretty soon. That is great news and will put even more pressure on Nani in particular to perform.

The South Korean midfielder has not played for the Red Devils since suffering a knee injury against Blackburn Rovers in March but United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is optimistic he will be back in action soon.

Ferguson said: "Park Ji-Sung is now training with the first team and should be ready in a couple of weeks.

"He's a terrific young player and his return will be a great boost for us.

"He gives us more options going forward, which is good news."

Park could be involved as early as the home match with Everton on 23rd December.

endless runinng, sound positioning, dribbles, 1 touch, i forgot how many assits he made as well as goals.....adds a different dimension to the team....definitley a Baller
