dont buy fifa 08, in a month winning eleven 2008 will be released in full english version, end of november

It's already released for PS2. Have it. Already playing Master League. It's great. I hope Fernando will make some kind of patch so I can put Japanese commentary on Pal version - Jon Kabira rules. His commentary is brilliant.

Agreed 100%, if FIFA were to improve its game-play it would be perfect!

I have to say that PES2008 is way better than FIFA 08 on PS3. FIFA is so slow and boring, the only good the FIFA has is all the licensed teams and players.

Never really liked Fifa till 08 on the 360. Its a huge step in the right direction for Fifa and it has closed the gap a lot on pes.

Always been a pro evo/international superstar soccer fan the gameplay is just top draw so thats getting my vote.

FIFA on PS3 and on PC is very diferent, on PS3 its playable, but on PC it`s not. PES fhas had some changes in this version, but it`s still the same old game with some new features. My vote goes to PES

Default pes latest players - 11-14-2007, 05:15 AM

Pes is by far the better game, and if you want the latest players and kits you can update pes by patching it. I still play pes5 on my xbox 1, and it has all the 07/08 squads, kits, stadiums and better sounds. There are upates for all the later pes games, just google pes option files/patches to find out more.

All EA's Sports Games are for people who doesn't watch soccer or nba on tv. PES and 2K series are best for true sport fans

The new pro is desperately disappointed, and I say that as a Konami aficionado of some eleven years. I've got a ripping good laptop but foolishly I opted for a Dell integrated graphics card which, unbelievably, Konami hasn't catered for in their design so I'm having to play it on low quality which is a total regression. The engine does nothing to make up for this loss. I'm loath to even try FIFA having sworn off it for so many years.

Played both, started with Fifa and switched to Winning 11.

Licensing (simply because of EA's wealth) is obviously better and they have more teams.

As for gameplay? THE WINNING ELEVEN

Well what did you expect with INTEGRATED graphics on a laptop? The new pro evo has definately improved its graphics and physics and all that lot, integrated just isn't going to hack it. Honestly I am suprised you could even play it on low at all.

It's almost like a jumbo jet having tiny wings, the wings just cant cope, just likes your graphics card can't. It's a serious bottleneck in the system.

has anyone tried playing the latest Pro Evo on a Canadian/US PS3 - need to see if it's worth importing? I have FIFA and although it has hugely impressive graphics...it just isn't fun to play - anyone else find that? It's almost too realistic....
