Although the scoreline doesn't give a hint, this game had a lot of scoring opportunities, end to end action and some testy exchanges.

Was pleasantly surprised. It was an extremely entertaining match.

I'm still a lil puzzled as to why Low had Podolski out wide left and playing in a 4-5-1 formation. It seemed to confuse the German attack at times. When Low switched the formation back to 4-4-2, they were completely in snyc and should have scored quite a few times.

Spain played brilliantly. With Raul and Juaquin out of the squad, the cast selected by Aragones bought into his system and executed their attacks very well. In this match, the passing which Spain exhibited was superb and Torres as the lone striker was class. His goal made Lahm look really bad.

Great final and tournament as a whole. Although the goal scoring was down, both of these teams provided some quality play.

I'm so glad Spain made it. It was a great game. Both teams had good opportunities, though Spain had more... Some fouls were so unneccessary... But who cares?! They won the thing and I'm really glad Nando made it after all his attempts and the team is just so great.

Loved that Ramos did wear the shirt for Antonio Puerta

And it's just great to see that Ballack is again only the second. OMG this is just so funny. Four times in a year, manage this. It's a new record :P LoL. It's so hard to stop smiling...

There was an article in the local papers that he had played in 9 finals previously for club and country (that 9 includes the finals earlier this year....this Euro final would be his 10th Final match) and hadn't won any of them...

My wife likes Ballack and so was cheering for Germany....I decided to cheer for Spain and I kept teasing here with the previous facts.
