Cappello Names Rio as England Captain - Page 2

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he or John Terry end up with the title of team captain. I guess you can't go wrong either way, both are tremendous players. Maybe I an biased but I seriously think Rio would be the better choice. It seems to me that Rio has same great leadership qualities.

Of course I'm biased, but I do think Rio would be a good England captain. I can see him wearing the captain's armband for United after Giggs and Neville hang up the boots. Rooney also has great character to be a captain, but I've never been a fan of forward players being captain (all the play is generally behind them)

Terry has also been good as captain of both England and Chelsea so I'd say it's between Rio and Terry for the national armband. I'd be happy with either, but happier if it went to Rio (there's that bias again)
