As far as I have seen Everton this season playing in both Premier League and Uefa Cup, I think that they are the side that deserves that last spot for Champions League. More than that, Liverpool are concentrating on their campaign in Europe rather than playing decent football in the PL. I really hope that Everton will teach Liverpool a lesson today and end every ambition of Pool, by showing some quick-fire passing and fluent attacks, adding to a memorable victory. I also think that it's now or never for Everton, it has to be a strongly recommended win!

I have missed the first half, but managed to get back in time for the second one.
Loserpool scored on the 7th minute and that early goal did the trick. In the second half Everton dominated the game. The main battle was in midfield, 'cause when it came to finishing both team lacked that final touch. It seemed to me that Loserpool were lucky today, as every deflected ball was always going to a loserpool player. Also I think the ref wasn't fair enough. There were some bad decisions, including a yellow card for Jagielka only because he fouled Gerrard, I guess. Everton really deserved at least a draw for their second half performance, but, as we know, sometimes football isn't fair.
