Default Muppet Madrid Still Talking Ronaldo Rubbish

ESPNsoccernet - Europe - Schuster insists Madrid will snare Ronaldo 'one day'

Quote:
Madrid will snare Ronaldo 'one day'

Real Madrid boss Bernd Schuster is more determined than ever to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, the player he believes has deposed Kaka as the best in the world.

Schuster accepts it will be almost impossible to prise the Portugal winger away from Old Trafford in the near future but reckons he will one day join the Spanish giants.

'In these types of things it is best to be realistic. Cristiano Ronaldo right now is a 10 out of 10, the best in the world,' said Schuster of the player who last night scored his 36th goal of a sensational season.

'But I don't see Manchester United as being in the business of selling.'

Schuster added in Spanish newspaper AS: 'In the short term I cannot see it as being possible, but I think in a few years that he could wear the Madrid shirt in the Bernabeu.

'He is the star at Old Trafford and until he wins a Champions League and some more Premier League titles they are not going to allow him to escape.'

Comparing 23-year-old Ronaldo with the reigning World Player of the Year, Schuster said: 'For me, Cristiano Ronaldo is already better than Kaka after the Brazilian's loss of form at Milan this season.

'Some day he will be with us...'

Schuster also spoke highly of Chelsea striker Drogba and Sevilla's Luis Fabiano, the leading scorer in Spain's Primera Liga this season.

'For me they also seem very good,' Schuster said. 'Madrid, if they sign, have to aspire to get the best.'

I'm stunned at how classless these cnts are. This is truly shocking. How do you talk about a rival's player with such ease, and with not concern of recourse. It's a disgrace. No one asked this twat for his opinion, and under no circumstance should he be giving it, particularly about a player who is locked into a contract well passed two years. Ugly, just ugly, ugly tactics from Real whose executives continue to ruin the clubs reputation.

Personally this reminds me of Calderon's tactics to try to drum up enough support from the fans so that he kept his job.

Fifa really needs to do something about this now.

Completely agree. If a player in locked in a contract, other teams shouldn't be trying to poach players.

This is a dead issue anyway. Isn't it?

Real have shown in the past couple of seasons what a classless bunch of cnuts the board/management are. Sad state of affairs.

Didn't the Real president promise that he would buy Kaka or Ronaldo last year?

What a bunch of nonsense. Real seem to want everyone except their own damn players. They also want Drogba, which sounds much more reasonable and I definitely do not mind taking him away from Chelsea.

These stupid rumors happen every year. Unfortunately, Italian and Spanish teams have no shame in expressing their wish lists. But I am for sure that as long as SAF is running the show, Ronaldo will be in a United uniform. He may actually end up in Real one day but not in the next 6, 7, 8 years

Real Madrid and their higher-ups are like the girl that you said hello to a couple times in school and now they in turn wont stop pestering you because they turned out to be a psycho. What would it be like to play for them i wonder??? Well you have a manager and owner who constantly can't stop talking about players they dont have. Wish list players who have little relevance to the talented players they put on the pitch week in and week out. It must feel good to be in the locker room and read about how the club is vying for this player and that player. Cant they be happy with the guys they have? Cant they go and find guide/nurture/advance/ and build up their own Cristiano Ronaldo?? WTF?? Why is this kind of shit even being discussed at this point in the season?

I think of them like Oracle. A company of absolute shit executives managing growth by buying other more mature companies thinking they'll pan out, yet year after yeat net earnings shit underperform, while their current employees grow fat on high wages, low hours, and under the table back scratching. Lovely Real Madrid. Embarrassement of football.

If this isn't "tapping up" a player, then I don't know what is. And I thought the ban on tapping up (ie trying to entice a player to transfer while still under contract) was a FIFA ban?

WTF?

FIFA, UEFA, or someone should slap this wanker up side the head and tell him to shut the f**k up!

Real Madrid is still in the champions league, right? I've been watching ever since the round of 8 and I haven't seen them play. I was pretty sure i watched all the games, i must've missed their game. I guess I'll have to be sure to catch the replay...weird that I missed them though. Ive checked the scores, but they dont pop up...strange. Who are they playing anyway? Bayern? Madrid have such a great squad, one with such chemistry. Definitely a close bunch, you can tell. Definitely a team that would go far in a tourney like the Champions League. Such homegrown talent! Such a prestigious team!

I used to like Real but in the last year or so, my respect for their management just went down. It went away. I had no respect for them. Their management is so arrogant and cocky. The way they keep expressing how I will get this player and that. In truth they are giving empty promises and hope for their fans that will sooner be broken by the fact that they didn't get that player. The way they've been expressing themselves is really ruining their reputation as one of the best clubs in the world. Tackiness, might I say.

If they keep up with this baiting, they will never get him. It just shows how they have no manners.

just becuase madrid are a 'big team' they automaticlly think that they can sign anyone, and that they will definatly want to come. Its woeful.

I stick my the strong vision that ronaldo would rather play with quieroz 'ronaldo's new father' around him than some overated twat german manager with little to no portugese connection within his squad. (no offence if anyone here is german, its not becuase he is german, just him himself thats a twat)
