i am shocked the name emile heskey has cropped up, i admit he had a good season but you should always learn from your mistakes, and i totally believe england should stay clear of that bloke.

i think crouch, nugent, johnson, bent, defoe, ashton are enough to chose from and are less of a liability on the pitch than emile heskey....

if you really dont want any of those, there is matt derbyshire who is doing well for U-21's and blackburn, he may not be an immediate choice now, but i think he should be given a chance at a higher level, i really think he has enough to make it.

i think owen shouldnt be selected until he proves himself, it would be unbelievable if he gets picked without proving his fitness and his recent form.
