Venue: Hasely Crawford Stadium

It seems like yesterday that these too massive sides [ ] squared off in the group stages of WC '06.

England laboured to a 2-0 win and Trinidad ended up receiving many accoloades for there fighting spirit and determination.

Times have changed. TnT are looking to youth, while England are looking to regain some sort of respectability.

I fully expect England to win, and to be honest, I am expecting them to labour again. The climate conditions will not favour them at all and TnT will be looking to win this.

3-0 England.

I hope to see this lineup:

-------------------- Hart ----------------------

Johnson --- Woodgate --- Ferdinand --- Bridge

Beckham --- Gerrard --- Barry --- Young

----------- Ashton --- Defoe --------------

Defoe definitely needs more matches with the NT to get his experience up.

The Gerrard - Barry partnership was actually quite enjoyable to watch against the US and I'm interested to see if if it was a one off or they actually can work in future matches.

Definitely feel that Young could actually give Cole a run for the left wing spot. Hopefully he has a great game.

Also want to see Walcott play as well.

will be a easy win for England imo, nothing much to say, maybe again a 2-0 or maybe 3-0

2 minutes to go and England have dominated this match as expected.

Some decent strings of passes put together by England. Some wonderful goals by Barry and Defoe (x2).

Hart, coming on in the 2nd half looked a lil shaky early on, but has settled in.

Walcott subbed in a bit later for his first appearance in 2+ years for the senior team.

Seems England need to practice playing with full intensity for 90+ mins. In there last 2 friendlies, they have trailed off after 50+ mins.

After England went up 2-0, I couldn't help but think that England would have been better served if they challenged a team which was heading into Euro '08. Or better yet, playing a UK tournament with Wales, Scotland, Ireland. The competition would have been higher for starters and it would give Capello a better measurement of what improvements are needed heading into the WC qualifiers.

I fully understand the pr exercise in trying to get Jack Warner's vote for the WC '18 bid, but pitch success would definitely help bidding success.

Great to see Yorke get some playing time. Great servant for TnT football. His ovation was massive.
