That means no Berbatov for us, which means we're screwed, again! I don't really like the idea of getting as much money as possible by selling your player. If he wants to go and you've already brought a replacement, which was far more cheaper, why would you ask so much money for him? You already benefit a lot from this transfer, which is in everybody's interest.

Shouldnt have any ramifications on the Berbatov deal. Arshavin isnt a direct replacement anyway.
Pavlychenko is in London for a medical and he IS a direct replacement. With Saha now gone, Im sure Fergie knows what he's doing. Berba will be with us soon. |

I doubt that. Only two days left + Fergie's statement at the press conference.
Arshavin is an attacking midfielder, thus he would have brought more striking force. Even with Pavlyuchenko, I doubt Ramos will be willing to sell Berbatov, despite his attitude.

according to sky sports news, Spurs are only willing to offer 16 mil, deemed far to little by zenit who still want around 20.
if they dont end up selling berbatov then we really need someone from somewhere. We have gone from our attack being unstoppable last season to it being our most needed area to strengthen. i hope fergie knows what he is doing, becuase we cant afford a bad season.

I actually heard today that Spurs had made an offer of 25m euros for Arshavin, which is about £20.5m but I can't remember where
![]() Tbh, I don't think the Pavlychenko deal will change the Berbatov situation. If Spurs were to sell Berbatov, they would only have 2 strikers. Time is running out for us to sign anyone, never mind Berbatov. ![]()
