......what're you doing over the international break?

Caught a bit of MLS action here, and of course there's been the NFL season kicking off as well. Still debating whether I want to drag my ass out of bed before 5 am tomorrow to catch the US/North Korea WWC match.

hmmm, i keep waking up every saturday and sunday thinking united are on and what's the time difference relative to england. then i check the plane and train prices and then i check the game times. I realize that there is a two week break and i enter into a deep depression.

ehhh you lot know about my national lapoon's european vacation, stefan's edition. i can't tell you how many times i've gone through pictures of manchester...well old trafford.

I watched two boring arsed euro2008 qualifiers, and I've been re-watching season 1 of Rescue Me, as well as downloading about 7 NFL games from Week 1. I'm hoping that'll keep me busy for the rest of the week..

I don't remember the international break being so boring... this must be the longest 2 weeks ever...

I watched England play Israel and I'll watch England play Russia.

Might watch the Portugal match against Poland that was played last week.

I worked all day on saturday.

So i didn't get to sit at home and watch internationals in a lounge chair. But i did catch Italy - France, Portugal - Poland and a bit of England - Israel by downloading them.

This break has been long yes, but thankfully Rooney could use it to recover and not be forced to play half dead like McLaren does to Gerrard.

tonight will be bulgaria and luxembourg. it's kind of an obligation if you're here. all the streets pretty much shut down anyway. even the bars close their doors. no way of really getting around it. i did hatch some of the chelsea aston villa match. interesting how that game has been forgotten, but it's a major cout.

I agree with ye funky. I don't remember international weeks being this long and it being so dull and boring. It seems like the past two weeks has taken gone on slower than the entire summer period went on. *sigh*

btw Gocart, it's coup, cout.

I hope this helps

I watched an excellent (I love you, Clint Dempsey) Brazil - USA match which was a much closer game than the scoreline would indicate (4-2, guess who?).

I also watched quite a few Euro games: Iceland v Spain, England v Israel, Russia v Macedonia, and in just a bit, Wales v Slovakia. Plus, if someone is able to post the England v Russia game, I'll have watched that as well.

I've enjoyed some very good soccer over the break.

Oh, and I've seen a whole bunch of NFL games (did you hear about the poor Buffalo Bills guy?) and college football games (GO HUSKIES!). Nobody here tries to make that ridiculous accusation that soccer is tougher than football, do they?
