Foreign Player Quotas?

Interesting (at the very least) idea. I'm not too sure if I like it or not although I think the intentions are good. But 5 foreign max in the XI? That seems very restricting. Let's see here...VDS, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Nani, Tevez, Saha, Giggs (Would the entire UK be native or would Wales and Scotland, etc be foreign you think?)...uh oh.

I'm pretty sure that Saha and vdS have lived in England long enough to be considered English citizens. Same with Giggsy. Ronaldo is fairly close as well.

But as gocart said, this isn't gonna happen..

A few years ago, the concern was the the lack of quotas in the EPL was causing fewer pure CM to be developed for the national squad of England. I think I agree. Other than Scholes, who doesn't play nationally any more, England hasn't produced a great pure CM in a long time.

well then the football wont be looking much nice... same country would form one only even if there r several players from the same country... in arsenal there are much more of international player i think
