Default Drogba GTFO

Drogba wants to leave 'broken' Chelsea

Talismanic Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has insisted that he wants to quit Chelsea three years after joining the Londoners.

'I want to leave Chelsea. Something is broken with the club,' Drogba told the France Football magazine due to be published on Friday.

Drogba, who has scored 43 goals in the Premier League, was one of the players most affected by former manager Jose Mourinho's departure last month.

'The damage has been big in the dressing room because we know now what happened and who caused Mourinho's departure,' said an unhappy Drogba.

'Nothing can stop me from leaving now.'

The Portuguese coach, who led Chelsea to back-to-back league titles in 2005 and 2006, has been replaced by Israel's Avram Grant.

Drogba, a £24million signing from Marseille in July 2004, said he has 'wanted to leave Stamford Bridge since the day he arrived' and says he wants a transfer to Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan or Inter Milan.
that's a shocker

yes actually it is funny and a disgrace, rarely in modern football you see footballers loyal to their clubs, i mean whats all this crap about them loving the manager and he was like a father figure to them, so what? he is gone now and life goes on. if he is wearing a CHELSEA shirt he should be loyal to the CLUB he plays for and the fans, not the manager not anything else. whats next? players asking for transferes because for example the teams captain was sold to another club so the rest of the squad just want to leave coz the captain left!! they should honour the contract they signed.

The loyalty needs to go both ways though. We see players getting sold and dropped even though they didn't want to be.
