Interesting read and I am going to have to agree with SAF. If Mourinho were to return, it would have to be to a big club.
I just don't see any of these clubs offering him a job. Benitez is sputtering at Liverpool. Surely Jose would been slotted in by now. Poll and response please. Quote:

At least, I don't think he will be back in the Premiere League next. I think he'll do a stint at some other European club for a while first.
Of course, there was that rumour that he would take over at Man U once SAF decides to retire....

i cant see him as taking an average club into a title contender without the sort of money he had at chelsea. He would always want to challenge for a title so i cant see him at a club outside the top 4. however, they all seem to have long term managers, except for liverpool who could axe rafa if things (continue to) go tits up.
i could see him managing a club like bayern; he mentioned his admiration for them in an interview once. I could also see him managing a clubs like the milans and real madrid, but it doesnt seem to likely that the chance to manage them will come soon. There is still the possibility of managing a NT side, but he sort of played that down. wherever he goes, good luck to him. I didnt really like his personality but i miss the laughs i got from seeing him blame everyone else and say he is the special one.
