Laughable his attitude is. I have no respect for such a joke of a player, great skills yes but that's it.

I think when all is said and done Ronaldo (PORTUGAL, of course) will be widely considered the #2 all time.

that's just some bollucks right there. I love the player, but please, please let's not go over board. The lad hasn't won anything and to win anything in modern football is a team effort, not just a personal effort. That is the major distinction between Rooney and Ronaldo and the major one that will always keep me from thinking of Cristiano as beeter than Rooney. That said, this is about whether he'll make the top 100, and he probably will, but he is not going to break top 10. I highly doubt it, although I can dream that he is that good.

Put it this way. Can you ever imagine him doing more than Cantona, or Best? While I can put Best up there, Cantona isn't top 10, if even top 50. We're talking about the greatest...OF ALL TIME!!! You have players like Mark Hughes, and Ryan Giggs who are going to be tough players to top.

To top the greatest at United he has to at least not only perfect his skills, but he has to show up, better the players around him, and furthermore have those crowning moments like Zidane in 1998 and 2001, Baggio in 1990 and 94, Maradona in 86 and Stoichkov from 92-94. Those are moments when you elevate a player from a great player, to an alltime memorable player. Furthermore he has to do it for both United AND for Portugal, and do it multiple times.
