Comments like these make me believe that United not only were looking for young players that had tremendous potential in football abilities, but also character during last summers transfer period.
Although I would like Nani to get a little more playing time, its apparent that he needs more consistency when playing. Not to mention that Giggs has been playing extremely well, Park back from injury and you have a log jam in the wing position. Anyways, his character should be applauded. No prima donna drivel. Just work hard and be prepared for when your called upon. Quote:

Thats great to hear, you dont find many young talented players like this who stay loyal to their clubs even though they're not starting every game when they can easily play for another club and be successful.
The truth is his time will come and when it does i reckon he'll take it in his stride. |

I guess Nani's planing to stay at United for a long time, if he's willing to wait. After Giggs will end his career, Nani will be the first choice for left winger.
Also, i think the fact that he's willing to wait means he's not eager to get to the peak of his career so fast, but wants to build it step by step, as russians say: slowly but confident. |

Great to hear coming from the lad but you also have to look at the fact that with Giggs age and other things considered probably have a greater influence on him making these comments as opposed to him just being loyal. He knows its only a matter of time.

he'll do well. he's a lot like Ronaldo when he first started, with people complaining of him having no end product or being consistency. as we've seen with ronaldo in the past two seasons, it will come.
i also think young players want to come to united to play with ronaldo, scholes, giggs, rooney and the like, and they're prepared to bide their time over 2/3 seasons. |

I think we cant forget that it was Nani who jump started this team early in the season with his wonder strike against Tottenham. It's nice to see a player as young as him try to make in impact everytime he is on the pitch and his ball striking ability and vision are terrific.

Ball striking is great I must admit but his vision beyond Ronaldo is lacking at times.
![]() Same with Anderson, he tried passing to Ronaldo just about everytime when he first started getting games but now he has greatly improved his distribution. With time Nani will improve as well I imagine. |

I believe Nani's decision making will improve with time but i feel he should start ahead of Giggs. Although he has had a few good moments Giggs has been crap this season. Nani i think has the most assists for us, not bad for a guy who hasn't played that much!!

^You must be joking. Nani has been, with the occasional exception, shit this season. Comparing him to Ryan Giggs is lunacy. Plus, I don't know how many assists Nani has, but it's not as many as Giggs (5), who has the third most on the team (behind Tevez and Rooney with 7).
