Default Tevez reveals future plans

Tevez has been in superb form for United following his protracted move from West Ham in the summer.

The Argentine international says he has always wanted to end his career in his homeland with Boca and he plans to do that when he leaves Old Trafford.

He told Radio Del Plata: "I would like to play four or five more years in Europe. I would love this to happen at Manchester United and then go back to Argentina.

"I know I will finish my career at Boca. No doubt about it. I do not imagine myself retiring without winning one more title there."

Fitness
Tevez is United's second-highest scorer this season with 13 goals in all competitions, but the player himself feels he has still not reached his best.

The skilful forward feels he has struggled for fitness and he is looking forward to a rest in the summer.

"I am playing at a 70 or 80 per cent of what I can really do," added Tevez. "I'm finding it quite difficult to get over each match. In the last 25 minutes, the level drops.

"I always do my best but it's difficult for me to keep this level.

"My body needs a rest. I have had no holidays for two years. I want to be calm, with my family, thinking about nothing for 20 days.

"Since the Copa America (last summer), I've had no rest. I will see how I am in May, when the season finishes."

Praise
Tevez also singled out Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes for special praise as he has been impressed by the duo since his arrival at Old Trafford.

"(Wayne) Rooney is a a phenomenon and a great man," noted Tevez. (Paul) Scholes is unbelievable. I see him every day. His quality and personality are tremendous. He is the engine of this team."
I'd like very much if he would play the rest of his career at United

i would like to see him with rooney after 3 or so years of partnership, they will give defenders hell (even more then they do now).

Thumbs up

I really admire the Carlos Tevez's work ethics he always works hard up and down the pitch. I hope he ends his career at Manchester United.

Agreed. Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo together for five or six years would be wonderful. If only Saha could stay fit to pick up the high balls in the box from one of them, or Carrick, or Scholes ;-)

He's done excellent following his move to Old Trafford.I can't think of a United lineup without him.

yeah, it's definitely very refreshing to see a player come forward like this. I respect it. I may not be happy that he in't 100% loyal about it, but at least it makes me feel really comfortable with the fact that he says he wants to be here for 5 years. It just seems like he isn't full of shit. He just won major points with me.

And to be honest getting 6 years from a foreigner (let alone a South American) is quite a good return.

I have no problem with this. I can completely understand how players from Latin countries come to England where the weather isnt nearly as warm as their home countries and the language is completely foreign. Ronaldo also has expressed his desire to play in Spain, Italy, or Portugal once again t
