I will roll about laughing if they have Ronaldo doing is many tricks and Rooney yelling at Homer.

Curious what they'll do with Rio. (Anyone says missed drugs test, I won't be happy....

Cartoon legend Homer Simpson is teaming up with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United in an hilarious new episode of the cult TV show.

Overweight Homer will take time out from a family holiday in England to work out with the likes of genius Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand in a bid to get fit.

The special episode featuring Homer and his catchphrase "D'oh!" is likely to be aired on Channel 4 later this year.

The Simpsons has previously featured celebs such as Elizabeth Taylor and Tony Blair in cartoon form.

Ex-Man United star Beckham, 32, is said to have turned down a role last year because scriptwriters had mocked his alleged affair with Rebecca Loos.

Hosting Channel 4's Alternative Christmas Message in 2004, Marge Simpson said of her marriage to Homer: "Our union is as solid as the union between your David Beckham and Posh Spice.

"Oh, he did that? With his assistant? That's so sad. OK, moving on..."

Ah, I would love to watch this! Would be great to see the players in cartoon form and how they would be portrayed!

wasn't there an episode where homer makes some sort of comment about wearing a Ryan Giggs jersey. this was recent also

In 2003, an episode of the simpsons mentioned Giggs:

While the Simpsons visit the UK, Homer Simpson bragged that he had just come out of a fist fight with 2 other guys over a Soccer match. He also mentioned that GIGGS shouldn't have received a yellow card in the Penalty box. I guess this proves that Homer is a Man Utd. supporter.

Can't seem to find the clip on youtube though.

yeah i just looked also. wasn't there also a "Go Aberdeen" reference. who the fuck on the cast is a united fan?
