Anderson and Hargraves is the best midfield combination that works well for Manchester United.

We lost against milan last year for multiple factors, and centrally because of our central defending. Vidic came back for that game off of a fairly lengthy injury (to his shoulder? or wrist, i don't remember). He was shite in that game, as was Rio and Gary. In the article I'll be writing later this week on the CL, defense will be at the core if we have any hopes of winning.

As for midfield, as long as Scholes is fit to put a red kit on, he's the number one choice...no doubt, no questions asked. I think that after the display him and Carrick put together the earlier that month against Roma, that Ferguson picked the right pair.

I think just recently the media have started to say how good the boy is, i believe when he plays with Hargraves he can bomb on more and influence the play more, as hargraves just sits and breaks up play.

In my opinion two best midfielders are Anderson and Scholes

you can't play that offensive, I think that (at least for the future) Anderson - Hargreaves is the best partnership, with Carrick and Scholes as backup. Although Scholes in his prime can force himself into the first XI

Yeah i think it really should be fletcher playing by himself in midfield. really no need for anyone else

In fact it's most likely that Scholes Carrick is the primary setup with anderson and hargo as the backup. In any United team, Scholesy is always going to get first choice

Anderson has the ability to play fantastic through ball, if Rooney was better finisher he would be rackin up the assists plus he's strong, fast, and has the ability to knock those long ball forward not to the extent Scholes does but he's only 19 he's only going to get better.

I think Nani should be playing more Giggs isnt performing fantasticly well and at his age a rest every game or two would prob help him perform at a higher standard.

With Scholes he's an amazing player dont remeber any other mid having an 89% pass accuracy year on year but I think Anderson is to good to sit on the bench and deserves the games to help him develop so I'm all for rotation but rather than rafa style picking names out of a hat I think it would be better to have set pairs so they learn each other games and feel comfortable playing with each other.
