I'd like to point out one of the qualities that are not often mentioned

Quote:
Nani, 21, also revealed that Ryan Giggs is grooming him to be his successor at Old Trafford.

Nani gave way to Giggs in the starting line-up at Lyon in the Champions League in midweek but the former Wales winger is doubtful for the trip to Newcastle in the Barclays Premier League today after suffering a leg injury.

Nani said: 'Ryan has already said he wants me to succeed him on the left when he has gone. He is always talking to me and giving me advice.

'There is no bitterness or obvious rivalry. He just wants me to do well and for United to do well when he is no longer playing.'
this is just another reason why Ryan Giggs is a legend. Samson pwns humanity

There is no rule in football that you cannot juggle,so there should be no complaints!

I cannot imagine football without players like Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo!

Show must go on,it was not disrespectful!

Default of course its disrespectful!

Was it disrespectful when Henry passed a PK to Pires? Surely that was arrogant and showboating... sounds like arsenal supporters love to dish it out, but cant take it.

The fact is that I loved it when Nani did his juggling bit, as i suspect most other united fans did.

Isnt that all part of football? getting one over on your rivals? rubbing salt in the wounds when you are winning?

you can be sure they would have enjoyed it if the boot were on the other foot.

Couldn't agree more. Sure, I'd be pissed if Adebayor or anyone from Arsenal pulled that but of course as a United fan I loved that it was Nani. Isn't sticking it to our opponents half of what gives us so much pride as United supporters?

I absolutely loved it when Rooney did it at Everton in the 4-2 win... I thought it showed how he felt and I like seeing emotion on the pitch. What I dislike are players and coaches downplaying important matches and pretending like matches like our FA Cup tie with Arsenal weren't tremendously important to the title race. Of course, they are, and then some.

The Nani juggling was different from what Rooney did, because Rooney had motivations. Nani really didn't and there is no reason to fire up your top rival.

i think that is a good example, ,however they did get booked following the penalty kick. At least it shows the irony in what some arsenal fans were saying.

Its not just nani ,this has been debated for a while now with players like kerlon seen by opposition fans and players as being disrespectful.

I thought that his first 3 or 4 touches were actually neccesary, and when he realized that he could get away with it he kept going. I think Arsenal needed that.

He's only 19, so even if you don't think it was neccesary you must give him a pass. He was having his best game as a Red and his spirits were high. I don't blame him.

Sorry I've been gone for a while, internet's been down.

I don't think it was disrespectful. As it was said in an earlier post Arsenal were showboating when they were less than 4-0 up with that Henry/Pires penalty disaster (think it was only 1-0!!!) . Nani got away with it, they didn't. He is still young and so we have to realise that. At first I think he had to keep the ball up with his head as he was running and couldn't get the ball down. The point is Gallas shouldn't have kicked out at him. This is more wrong than what Nani did and that is what the main discussion point should be, and the final tackle if it was slightly mis-timed could have been really bad.

I love it how Nani said, "Ferguson spoke to me". LOL. Maybe he doesn't know the Portugese for gaffer. I think that is more disrespectful myself
