they aren't as high as you think they are. 04 he had 5, i think he had 12, and 15 in subsequent seasons and this season he's on 9. He's on pace, but that is all

Mate, we've scored 64 goals in the Premiership so far this year, what's there to 'worry' about?

Personally i couldn't care less who scores the goals, do you really think that say Ronaldo scores the majority of our goals on his own, and we end up winning the title again, that the United fans are going to worry?

If Rooney doesn't score and we win the title, do you think United fans are going to worry about that? Not a chance.

As i've said i don't give a monkeys who scores.

his point is that we're so reliant on Ronaldo that without him, we might be in a state where we can't just turn it on. While that is a plausible scenario, I personally could also see Rooney finally being broken from his shackles and taking up the cause, being more aggresive and raiding thebox more. I've noticed that it's rare for both Ronaldo AND Rooney to be on fire in the same game. The team has psychologically handed over the responsibility for scoring to Ronaldo, and he's gladly taken it up.

Just like with Henry's departure from Arsenal, I think we'll be more than ok without him for the time being and I have more than enough confidence in Tevez and Rooney, who would absolutely sparkle if they ever were allowed to come out of his shadow.
