Manchester United have agreed new long-term contracts with Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown and Michael Carrick.
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed the trio have ended any doubts surrounding their futures by pledging to stay at Old Trafford.
Ferdinand has been discussing an extension with the Premier League champions for some time and has accepted a deal until 2013.
He has grown in stature at United this season and has spoken of his desire that this contract will not be his last with the club.
The centre-half was a £30million signing from Leeds United in 2002 and he has made over 250 appearances.
The future of Brown had been less clear-cut after the England international repeatedly rejected the contract which had been offered.
Major fillip
Brown was due to become a free agent in the summer and the Red Devils had rejected an approach from Newcastle United during January's transfer window.
Ferguson had previously been critical of Brown's agent in the negotiations, but the 28-year-old has decided to stay with his only club.
The versatile stopper, who has made the right-back spot his own this season in the absence of injured skipper Gary Neville, is approaching 300 appearances for United.
Carrick has also been rewarded by United for his progress since joining the club in an £18.6million switch from Tottenham Hotspur in 2006.
After a steady first season at the club, Carrick has been favoured in the midfield holding role, ahead of Owen Hargreaves, in recent weeks.
The new contracts will provide United with a major fillip as Ferguson looks to secure back-to-back Premier League titles and advance past Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
I'm very happy for Brown that he agreed the deal beacause he was with United since he was a kid, at it would been very petty for him to go way after that time spent here.
Ferdinand no dounts in his choise.
And Carrick very glad to here that contract was renewed, i really like the guy and was a big plus for us last season when him and Scholesy were the midfield base. So credit to the lad.
It seems to be a good news year for Man United, cuz all the "big" guys signed contract renewals, thing that shows that inside our team it's a big big family and no one wants to leave.
Good choise from all of them. Respect!

Manchester United always score!
you think Wes will notice that rio is now making more than double than him? I think I'd be pissed if I was arguing for another 5000 quid, haven't gotten it, yet Rio hits the jackpot.

Rio is in a different class than Wes - even a blind man can see that. Rio has been solid as a rock in defense, and Wes has had more than a few moments of sheer boneheadedness. Anyone else remember his inch-perfect pass to Fabregas in the Arsenal game?
Wes never has been my favourite player, so he should consider himself lucky to get pretty much any contract. The only reason this makes me happy is because we are awefully light in the right back roll with Gary being injured for so long.
i thought they already offer ronaldo a BIG contract
its good to hear ferdinand, carrick and brown continue to be with man utd
not like last time ferdinand contract take a lot of time ,maybe because he just want to spent the rest of his football life....

Rio signs £125,000-a-week deal to keep him at Old Trafford until 2013
Rio Ferdinand has signed a new contract at Manchester United which will keep him at Old Trafford until 2013.
The new deal effectively means Ferdinand will spend the remainder of his career with United.
After originally joining the Red Devils in 2002, the former West Ham player has gone on to fulfil his promise of becoming one of the most accomplished defenders in the game.
"Rio's contribution this season has been a major factor in our outstanding defensive performance and I am delighted he has signed a new contract," said manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Ferguson also fuelled a growing belief that the 29-year-old has been earmarked as the club's next captain.
Ferdinand has taken the skipper's armband on a regular basis with Ryan Giggs used so sparingly towards the back end of the campaign and is likely to lead United into their Champions League final meeting with Chelsea on May 21.
And though Gary Neville will be back from injury next season, the implication is as soon as the long-serving full-back stands aside, Ferdinand will get the job full-time.
"Rio has matured into his role at the club and has shown, when needed, what a great captain and leader he can be," said Ferguson.
Coming just before United head out to Moscow, aiming to become European Cup winners for the third time, the news offers Ferguson and his men the perfect lift.
It also avoids the kind of long-running saga which characterised Ferdinand's last contract talks.
At one stage, the defender was booed by his own supporters as they failed to understand why negotiations were taking so long.
This time however, talks have been conducted smoothly, leaving Ferdinand delighted.
"Manchester United is a fantastic club and I am delighted I have signed a new contract," said Ferdinand, who clinched his third Premier League title after beating Wigan on Sunday.
"It is a great honour to be part of this trophy-winning team and to share in the success, which I am sure will continue for many seasons to come.
"I would like to thank the manager, the coaching staff, the players and the fans for the tremendous support they have given me since I joined the club."
