Red face Petty question about Carlos Tevez - 04-20-2008, 09:57 PM

Please don't misunderstand, I'm asking with all due respect as I love the man's breathtaking skill and tenacity. But...

Does anyone know what's the matter with Carlos Tevez's neck? I'm sure everyone has noticed that it's pretty badly scarred. I'm just curious if anyone knows why? Forgive me if this has been discussed before. I used the search function, but came up empty. Thanks in advance.

Can't wait for Saturday when we both clinch the title and end Chelsea's 100 game--or whatever it is--unbeaten run at home.

Its not just his neck

Quote:
Carlitos has a scar from the right ear to his chest, product of a burn with boiling water when he was a young boy. He declined plastic surgery since he would have to be out of the playground for four months.
From Carlos Tevez

It looks quite bad if i have to be honest. Probably on par with ribery's scar except tibery has it all over his face.

I respect him for not taking the plastic surgery offer. It says a lot about him and what he thinks of himself.

btw, read up on the spoiler rule. Its not on many other footie forums but we chose to have it because not all fans can watch the match live.

Thanks so much for the info and the link, Dirtycheat. I agree with you regarding Ribery.

You know, I'm actually one of those fans who is often unable to watch the matches live! I realized my spoiler just as soon as I posted, and almost immediately edited out the infraction, but you're like, Ronaldo quick though! I'm all for the spoiler rule, and I promise to be more diligent in future posts.

He has plenty of time to take that surgery after he finishes his career.

Plus, this is how he showed how much he loves football and how much he's dedicated to his career as a footballer.

He was given a chance to take the surgery .

but he denied it by saying , that is not what he is and that the scar was a part of him

Great man !

Ribery was surcome to a car crash, which is where his scar is from.

Joleon Lescott got his scar when he was hit by a car when he was just 10 years old.

tragic really.

The scar might be ugly, but his game is all about beauty...

(Who the hell writes that?! Iīm ashamed of myself now.)

---

And I was talking about Tevez, of course!

---

Magnus Wolff Eikrem (is that how you spell it) has a scar on his lip... But thatīs one of them "born with it" scars. Donīt know what itīs called in english, but in swedish itīs "harmynt".

GunFighter while your posts are really helpful, try to use the edit button as opposed to triple posting. It's a common courtesy and considered good manners. Besides the mods disapprove of making a habit of double and triple posting.

btw it's called a birthmark.
