that starting lineup has much chance as I do bedding Natalie Portman, Gabrielle Union and Gemma Atkinson in the same night.
-------------------------------------- Valdes --------------------------------------
Zambrotta ---------------- Thuram -------------- Milito ----------- Abidal
-------------------------------- Yaya Toure --------------------------------
------------------- Xavi ------------------------- Iniesta --------------------
Messi ------------------------- Eto'o ------------------------- Henry
---
Valdes - Runs hot and cold. Prior years, you simply did not know which Valdes would show up. The quality goalkeeper, or the muppet marker. He is getting more consistent, but when bombarded under pressure, he wilts.
Zambrotta - Has tailered his game to Spanish football, with a physical touch of Italian football. Struggled early on with balancing his physical play to the whistle happy Spain league. He picks his spots now and with his excellent marking, has really improved his play.
Thuram - excellent defender, but with aged legs, pace has diminished. Excellent understanding of the game and puts himself in positions to cut off passes and keep the opposition from receiving distribution. Not physical.
Milito - Quick player who uses this to cut off passes. Not very physical and if I remember correctly. Not great with aerial pass clearances.
Abdial - Has had a horror season. Completely below his standards. He has been asked to be a wingback, but his temperment and comfort zone is to be a stay at home defender. Has been caught out of position because of the position change numerous times.
Yaya Toure - has had a quality season those far. Defensive midfielder, but can mix it up in attack. Fairly quick and cuts off passing through the channels. Can be physical.
Xavi - Monster. Complete box to box player who can beat you defensively with his pace, tackling and marking as well as offensively with his accurate passing and rocket of a shot. Spain's version of Paul Scholes.
Iniesta - Has matured into a quality attacking midfielder for the Catalan club. Links up play with the forwards very well and creates openings for himself in which to score. Pacey and loves to mix it up.
Messi - The lil dyanamo is coming off his 4th major injury in 3-4 years. When he is on his game, he can beat you on the dribble, beat you playing off of his teammates and beat you off the ball. Given any room to run, you are asking for trouble. A lot of it.
Eto'o - Best striker in the world. Thats right. Lemme repeat it one more time. The Best Striker in the World. Pace, accuracy and a cannon of a shot. Can beat you one on one, passing or off the ball. Has no issues playing physical either. Knows when to take his shots and when to involve his teammates.
Henry - Has had a decent season being asked to play out on the wing, which obviously isn't his favoured position. Still has pace, but his passing has lacked and his shot accuracy hasn't been great either.

Key matchups:
1. Ronaldo v Abidal/Messi v Evra - Both defenders will have to be on there toes because they will be facing probably the top 2 players in the world. They will get help from there teammates, but they will still have to do there best to make sure they stop both players in when isolated.
2. Iniesta v Hargreaves/Carrick
3. Rooney v Thuram/Milito/Eto'o v Rio/Vidic
