This is a great loan for Martin. We'll really be able to gauge how far he's come during this stint with Sheffield.

Sheff Utd capture Martin on loan

Martin has been on loan at Plymouth Arygle this season

Sheffield United have signed Manchester United winger Lee Martin on loan for the remainder of the season, reports BBC Radio Sheffield.

"It's a big club with some excellent players and it should be higher up the table than it currently is. This is a big six months for me," he said.

Martin, 20, was previously on loan at Plymouth, where he made 12 appearances and scored two goals.

He will be suspended for United's game against QPR on Saturday.

Swansea order Brandy

Swansea are set to complete the loan signing of United’s 18-year-old Reserves striker Febian Brandy.

The Swans announced on their website that the Manchester-born forward will join up with his new team-mates today (Thursday) and will remain on loan at the Liberty Stadium until the end of the season.

Brandy, a small, quick and skilful striker, joined the Reds at the age of nine and has been at the club ever since, progressing through the Under-18s and into the Reserves.

ManUtd.com will confirm the deal if and when it goes through.

Barnes has joined Chester until season's end.

Quote:
Teenage Manchester United winger Michael Barnes has joined League Two outfit Chesterfield on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has been a regular in the United reserve team and joins the Spireites to get some first-team experience.

Chesterfield have been tracking Barnes for some time and he replaces Felix Bastians in the squad after the German returned to Nottingham Forest following the end of his loan spell.

Welcoming Barnes' move, Chesterfield boss Lee Richardson said: "Michael is an exciting prospect and we are delighted that Sir Alex Ferguson has allowed him to join us on loan as we have had an eye on him for some time."

Chorley-born Barnes joined United's Youth Academy in January 2006 after being spotted playing for Lancaster City and made his full debut for the Reds in the Carling Cup that year.

some good loan deals there by man united. Quite a lot of player out on loan now which is promising.

i saw highlights of evans game for sunderland and although richardson stole the show, evans was really solid at the back. Sunderland defenders are utter shite especially that ginger one so evans will really be pushed to his limits there and it will be a great experience.

He signed a three-year contract with United earlier this month after moving from Angolan side Petro Athletico.

"After the ACN I will return to Luanda and then head to Athens," Manucho told Angolan television.

"I am looking forward to playing in Greece before hopefully being a success at Old Trafford."

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson explained: "We have farmed him out to Panathinaikos for the rest of the season as he will get games there.

"They have a Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro and as Manucho speaks Portuguese, it is comfortable for him. Then we will apply for a work permit in the summer."
another one on loan now. He is doing pretty well in the ACN and i would have thought it would have been enough for him to be able to appeal but it seems that we cba to appeal now and will most probably have loaned him out anyway.

good luck to him
