Smitten Tevez puts his love for Manchester United down in song

So in love: Tevez is enjoying his time at Old Trafford

Quote:
Carlos Tevez is loving life at Manchester United so much that he has written a song dedicated to his team-mates.

The 24-year-old penned Mi Amorosa Aventura, which translates as My Love Affair, after spending his first season with Sir Alex Ferguson's side which has so far seen him find the net 18 times.

The Argentina striker fronts a band in Buenos Aires called Piola Vago (Sly Idol), and a source told The Sun: "He has fallen deeply in love with Manchester United, the players, everything. He is full of emotion for the way he has been taken into their hearts.

"He can't believe it when he hears United fans chant 'Argentina' — especially with the history between the two countries. "He wants to put it all into words. He is in a band with his brother Diego and they are very popular back home. He will record the song when he returns in the summer."

Other football stars to have a shot at music include PAUL GASCOIGNE who teamed up with LINDISFARNE in 1990 for Fog On The Tyne,

CHRIS WADDLE and GLENN HODDLE who had a 1987 hit with Diamond Lights,

And finally Kevin Keegan who released Head Over Heels In Love in 1979.

Tevez has been great for United this season, not only scoring 18 goals but a lot of vitally important ones as well. He has proved without doubt that he can play up front with Rooney, even though the two have similar qualities, but he forms a great partnership with Wayne as well. In my opinion he has been better than Rooney this season, which is sensational for his first season at Old Trafford.

I was surprised to see him star against Barca mid week but as Rooney played on the right we didn't actually play 4-4-2. His battling qualities mean he is a true United player through and through. A lot of people were saying who would have been the better summer signing, Torres or Tevez, but I think Fergie signed the right player.

I would to hear this song, even if it is in his native language. I was surprised to hear that he is in a band so it is news to me and thanks for posting.
