lets hope he leaves it till after the champions league final. Dont want him injured any more than he already is

He's not even married yet.

And yes, I agree with SAF, it really keeps them out of trouble. Players would feel awful if their kid saw something embarrassing about them on the TV. They try their best to protect their family from the media and thus protect themselves.

But not all of them succeed. Beck's is the best example

Hehe true. Becks did have quite a few kids didn't he lol.

I think Rooney will do well, but let's win the double first before thinking about kids.

Hopefully this will help to mature him.

I can see him being a Captain for us one day, and with some maturuity his temprement should get better. His workrate and passion though are a thing to be admired and as our captain would be a huge rolemodel to young players.

Well, seeing as how the wedding isn't until next month, as per the article, I'd say he's in fine shape for the CL final.

Football and trophies have absolutely nothing to do with thinking about kids, really.

Huh?

Anyway, of course I'm biased, but yes, fatherhood would be a good thing. The main thing is that both of them will have to make sacrifices. They're both still very young, though, and for their own sakes, best to settle down to living together for a couple of years before deciding what to do about children. They need to adjust to that first and foremost, before even beginning to think about shouldering that massive responsibility known as parenthood. There's a big difference between happily dating and living together as a married couple, all the more so for a celebrity couple.

Just because Sir Alex says so doesn't make it always right or mean it has to happen immediately.

i hope this wont take away from Rooney's aggressive nature and prevent him from lashing out on refs as usual...
