Default Fergie's Current Squad his Strongest ever?

Fergie hails best ever side

Cristiano Ronaldo's double was enough to send the United faithful home happy, with Ferguson's side now unbeaten in ten league games.

After what was a somewhat slow start to United's campaign, new boys Anderson, Carlos Tevez and Nani have all begun to find their feet in Manchester; producing some stunning football in the process.

And it is such free-flowing performances that have had the veteran purring as he eyes his tenth title.

"I believe this is the strongest squad I've ever had, so much so I think I would be pushed to name my overall best team," he told the Daily Mirror.

"We have young players led by Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo and now joined by the likes of Carlos Tevez, Nani and Anderson.

"This is a good young team coming together and they have great courage in the way they want to play. They want to win something and the signs are good. We have a great chance of doing that this season."

well, here is our full squad lists

im not too sure whether or not this side is as strong as the sides in the 90s. The tactics and style of play is definately more advanced, we are a lot more versatile and we're much quicker, but is the squad stronger?

this is truly measured by mental toughness, and this team hasn't had the opportunity to prove that yet. while the league and europe is tougher these days, they have some proving to do in my book.

I've never seen us with as gifted a squad. I wouldn't say though that we're playing the best football I've seen a United team play but some performances last term were on par with anything I've witnessed, and that extends to football in general.

i think this article/image taken from the telegraph is a pretty good comparison of the best united teams.

personally, i am agreeing with GCM, the team need to prove that theyre the best by winning things like previous teams to make prove their class beyond doubt.

Definately one of the strongest squads in a while. However I'm not too sure, i'm not that young and have only watched United for a few years now.

However I think this squad has the players to win matches and I feel that it is not long before we take that euro cup home!
