However, it was a treble Old Trafford celebration as Sir Bobby picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award, Sir Alex was voted Manager of the Year ahead of Rafa Benitez and Mark Hughes while United were crowned Overall Club of the Year.
There was a double for Stockport County skipper Ashley Williams. He pipped Bury's Andy Bishop and Glenn Murray of Rochdale for League Two Player of the Year and then followed up by collecting the North West Player of the Year title for his contribution to football on and off the pitch.
The awards also recognised the people behind the scenes and the clubs' commitment to their local areas.
