I truly value Vidic's participation in United's quest for a repeat as EPL Champions. However, we a. are playing Bolton and b. have Pique, O'Shea, Evans to play in the cb position.

If Vidic wants to represent his country in a qualifier that could possibly qualify them for Euro 08 (Portugal would have to lose), then he should play. If Portugal wins, thereby eliminating Serbia from Euro 08, SAF should bring him back to United.
I actually have to agree with you here. I always love seeing youngsters or non starting players getting a chance to play such as pique and simpson.

Considering the situation, I think it's alright for us to let Vidic play for his home country.

Well he hasn't been picked by Camacho so he's free to start on Saturday.

Vidic Injured

Vidic race for fitness
23/11/2007

Nemanja Vidic is a doubt for Manchester United's trip to Bolton tomorrow after pulling out of Serbia's Euro 2008 qualifier against Poland with a back injury.

The United defender flew back to Manchester from Belgrade yesterday and will undergo intensive treatment.

Portugal's draw with Finland ended Serbia's hopes of qualifying for next summer's tournament - thus exempting Vidic from their final group match against Kazakhstan tomorrow.

I have full confidence is Gerard Pique but I hate it when our players get injured

Sure we have great backup players, but Vidic has been the most consistent defender this season.

I'll be very happy to see him in our starting lineup again sometime soon. Kinda tired of all tthe injuries but these are things we cant control. Whats most important is that we are still in striking distance.
