Default New signings and their effects.

I am utterly confused as to what kind of impact the new signings will have. I know some of them may take time to settle in but I am still not feeling fully confident. What do you guys think?

No trolling or jealousy filled replies. Please try ti explain your point and just not make straight forward short posts like "he will flop" or "he sucks"

Tevez - proven in the league, class player but too similar to Rooney.

Nani - unproven and weak. Eve fergie said today he would have preffered if he had stayed at Sporting for another year (he thought the same for ronaldo)

Hargreaves - I expect him to slot in and become and instant influence.

Anderson - Possibly the only one who I have very very high expectations from. Would be great to see him develop at Old Trafford. But he won't be a success at first, might take time to settle.

Rodrigo Posseboma and Macheda are for youth setup so they do not a lot of mention.

can yo ulink us to the SAF quote?

here's a theory. united go after tevez, purely to mess with the Premiership, who are now rightly stuck in a corner.

Tevez - not ideal type of player to fill United void but class player non the less , just means utd will have to play on the ground for the most part or be very accurate with crosses in the air.. lol

Hargreaves - class player , should replace Carrick in the line up IMO

Anderson and Nani - no great expectations but may be pleasant revelations as the season develops

the problem with signing tevez, is that it forces us back into a 4-4-2, which means that the midfield is even more pressurized. It's becoming increasingly hard to see how giggsy will get as much time. let's not forget that we have Park coming back, and Nani, Richardson, Anderson and Feltcher all provide a ton of options on the wing. Ole used to play on the right wing as well, and Ronaldo is a lock on the right. Midfield just looks like a mess.

One thing that is for sure. John O'shea....he'll never play midfield again.

i actually think that anderson will be the worst signing of all...

a lot of manU supporters think that he is their best signing but my question to ya'll is, Have you seen him play at Porto??

the kid is "ok" at best...he didn't even hold down a starting position at Porto, and when he came on, he looked lost most of the times..

IMO, his body is too small and technique is piss poor to sustain in the EPL....he'll need major surgery before he can perform at the high levels, especially the levels required to play for a top team like ManU..

I have only seen him in one Copa America game and what I saw didn't overlyimpress me . But I hope thats not a true reflection of his posture and movement around the pitch or his work ethic .

Thats a good question. I would expect so. He's had ample rest and didnt feature heavily at the Copa. Hope to see at least 30 minutes out of him.
