I admire Hargreaves for these comments. Imo, if Sven hadn't shown the faith to play him during NT matches when everyone and there dog wanted Hargreaves off the team... United probably would not have made an offer for him.

Also glad that an NT player really stepped up for Sven. A lil too late imo, but there none the less.

This Hargreaves purchase is going to be make a tremendous and immediate impact on United. Very excited to see him play.

yeah i agree. I'm especially looking forward to the reinvigorated scholes. that, in my opinion is the best part. Unleash Paul Scholes!

Nice comments by Hargreaves there, and he does indeed have a point. Sven stuck by him and look where it's gotten him. Best player for England at last year's World Cup, and now he's joined the reigning Premiership Champions, where he will no doubt continue to do wonderful things for us.

Regarding Sven though.. While he may have stuck by him, that could (and hopefully will) be his undoing at C*ty. The players there just aren't good enough and I hope stubborn Sven signs some donkeys (Heskey, Owen) who he absolutely had a hard on for while in charge of England and it gets them relegated.

hargreaves is a top bloke. You can just see that he is a model professional and will die for his club. I really like his attitude and I generally appreciate modest people and Owen fits the bill.

I do not have very very high expectations but I do expect him to add the much needed steel in our midfield. I can't wait to see him on the pitch with united jersey.

that's because the b'liga is a bit crap. It's like the same quality as the English Championship. Which says a lot if Bayern couldn't even make the CL in that.

that said, I love the new title. Good shit.

My stance on owen is quite simple. All I expect is an immense work rate that rivals rooney and continues to set the standard of what we expect from our players. Thankfully his looks balance out the hideousness of Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez. I'm wondering when pydgey doesn't start putting up pics of Hargreaves.

I will be buying his kit. I suspect he'll be very loved in Manchester.
