it's not that he's been mediocre. Upon further reflection, it was a muppet comment on my part. I think what I'm seeing is that he's been doing less creating this year, while his finishing has been superb. There's no doubt in his quality to put the ball in the net, but his link up play and his passing seem to not be as much of a focus of his game this year. It's hard to argue with his goal tally, but i feel like a lot of those goals were doubles against teams not worthy of contention. I haven't pinned down my issue with him, but there's something missing in his game.
