It seems that all the top teams are signing collosus giants like Drogba, Adeybyor and Crouch...finally we have our own in 24 year old Angolan striker Manucho. As if we had any of the these strikers, they would add another dimesion to the attack, but I like when Sir Alex used the words "quick and agile" when ask about the new signing.

I'm very surprised that we signed someone from an unheard league and of that age...at least Ole was playing in europe and was a youngster.....no doubt we must have a GEM on our hands. Will be very interesting to him in action at the African nations and see how he fits into the puzzle.

i think its a good idea to buy a good player like that maybe Benzema.

Benzema would be a good choice with me

but hearing about Manucho, hopefully it is a gem, at least it gives good cover if he is what SAF described him to be. wouldn't mind a drogba type on the bench

i didnt found any videos about him and i dont know anything about him but i'm sure he's a good player because sir alex brought him

Apparently, it is highly unlikely that he will recieve a work permit. He needs Angola to reach the African Cup Final for hm to qualify. It's also unlikely that he will get one on the grounds of exeptional talent since he is 24 and has not yet played in any league apart from the Angolan one.

Anyway, I read a stroy saying he was going out one loan to Panathanikos as Quieroz is a friend of their manager. But I woyuld have thought it more likely that he goes out on loan to FC Antwerp like Dong Fangzhou.

An impact like Drogba's is a lot to ask, but his raw tools seem to give optimism.

Well I don't think Benzema is quite "Drogba-like," perhaps a little bit better....lol........because he's pretty quick. We need someone a strong center forward who can hold the ball like Nistelrooy did. But, then they say this Manucho lad is big and quick at the same time, so let's hope he's better than Drogba or Benzema. Really looking forward to seeing him play!
