Wayne Rooney Scoring ***SPOILERS***

Wayne Rooney has not scored since his training ground injury. Before then he was on a roll scoring nearly a goal in every game. Since then he has not hit the net. I, personally am not worried as I believe that rooney contributes much more than goals. He gives the team energy, determination, skill and his range of quality passing.

What do you think has happened to Rooney? Is his injury still disturbing his game or is it just luck?

your views are all apprieciated.

All players go through cycles of form. Rooney is no different.

Keep the faith. He'll be scoring very soon. I'm predicting the 26th of December.

i've noticed something about how our players are moving in the last week. wayne is dropping left a lot more and then trying to strafe in, while tevez is doing a lot of the dropping back into the center of the pitch. This provides space for runners from midfield, but it also isolates wayne a bit. Also it isn't like he hasn't had his chances - second half of the liverpool game for example.

I think Rooney is and will continue to be fine. Sometimes weeks go by and great goal scorers don't score... then they score 4 the next week.

to be fair to rooney he has come so close in the last few game. If there was a competition to see who can hit and the bar the post i think he would be world champion, its his specialty.

its great to see him score once more, i think the next few games he will add to his tally now he has broken the deadlock and the statistic has gone away.

wayne was absolutely perfect yesterday. his passing and vision are the best that u can get from any striker in the world. he got some chances yesterday and could finish the game with hat trick. sometimes he misses a clear chance to score (yesterday with nani's cross, and the liverpool game when ronaldo crossed) but thats something that u work on practice and i am sure wayne know it very well. he just returned from injury

rooney will be back scoring just like he was before the injury have no worries about that he is class
