I have a feeling that this guy is going to make his critics eat their words and chocke on them.

Tall, agile, speedy - he already is no Dong! (although why we keep that player in our team is beyond my scope of understanding).

Even if he doesn't get the permit this season and ends up on loan somewhere, he will make a differnece next season, just wait for it.

I still think that we all got to have more faith in Ferguson - he watched him for 3 weeks at Carrington and for 6 more months the player was monitored by our scouts.

i realy can't wait to see him in action. I heard that he already scored for Angola in 2 friendlies before the African Nations Cup..of course he would be a last resort for us ...but who knows?..maybe he will be the next Samuel Eto'o....would be great

don't write him off just yet. He may be one of those players who peak later on in their career.

he is playing egypt soon so expect a few goals from him then because egypt atm are very very weak, despite being ACN champions. Il hopefully be able to get the goals from that much

its quite strange for man utd to sign a player like this....they normally aim for young strikers...i know hes only 24 but still not as young as what we normally sign...Larsson being the exception of course

i'm not so sure Larsson is the only exception. This young signing craze is a fairly new one and it isn't far from buying tevez at 23, and saha was 24 i think. You could look back historically at Hughes, Cantona, Cole, Yorke and Ruud and feel pretty confortable that 24 is a fairly young age to be a striker. Certainly the prime years are ahead of the player.

Default Manucho set for Reds wait

Well, it seems United couldn't secure a work permit for him.

So he'll be shipped out on loan. I hope its to a decent club where he can start and we can see what United are getting.

Quote:
UNITED are set to loan out new signing Manucho so the 23-year-old can gain more first-team experience.

The Angolan has signed for the Reds but does not presently satisfy work permit regulations even though he has reported for duty ahead of his country's African Nations Cup campaign.

And it seems rather than press for an immediate appeal, as they did with Park Ji-sung, United will loan the 23-year-old out.

Another impressive performance against Senegal. Held the ball up well, and excellent in the air. The scouting record seems much better with Queiroz at the helm utilising his Portugeese connections.
