i don't disagree that this is rubbish and these reports always come out right before we play the same team the player plays for.

As for Giggs, not only can you make the argument, but I'd put my money on him being done within a season. I don't see him playing into 2010 let alone the second half of 2009. I wouldn't be surprised if he won the CL and hung it up, but more than that, his usefulness is seriously diminishing. If he doesn't pull the plug, SAF will have to. He'll ride his contract out until next year (I'm pretty certain it runs into the 08-09 season) and that'll be it.

I agree with most of you. We don't really need Valencia even though he seems like a good player. Park is definitely a work horse, but he doesn't provide much penetration in attack and not to mention that his finishing is atrocious. If Saha overcomes his injury woes then he can prove to be a great player otherwise buying a striker in my opinion would be a better choice.

Although, who knows whats on Fergie's mind. He may be planning of playing Ronaldo up front more frequently and that way Valencia and Nani could be the ones taking on defenders. It's just a guess!
