I don't know what in him you don't like. One of you burst me out of laughing when I saw in his signature don't sign with Berbatov campaign...Have you watched his game?Did you see him last night?I doubt about that if you're writing such things about him

That person would be me.
United is a different club than most. Characters of players are just as important as a players skill set. With that said, Berbatov is a very talented player. No question. However, his attitude and character have to be questioned. His behaviour towards his teammates and former manager, Martin Jol and his behaviour when things don't go his way is terrible. As I've stated before, the similarities between Ruud's behaviour/attitude during his final months at United and Berbatov's currently ongoing with the Spuds is uncanny. You do realize we didn't get rid of Ruud for lack of skill right? I would prefer a player that might have a lesser skillset that Berbatov come to the club, who is high on character and keeps the club harmony up. Mind you, they have to fit in with the style of play and score...

i don't think anyone is doubting Dimitar's skill set. He's the most skilled player on the market without a doubt.
As for his attitude, I don't mind that either, because Saha and Evra had massive problems leaving their previous clubs, and didn't not exactly do themselves a favor with it in the press. My issue stands with how he would fit and who would get displaced in the current system. Namely I don't want to see Tevez or Louis on the bench. One of those two should always be playing. Firthermore how do you think Dimitar will react knowing he has to sit out some games? That said, if we did get Berbatov, you might as well just hand us the silverware now.

Today on Bulgarian sunday show which shows what happened in sports world in the past week,Berbatov was talking on the phone live and he said he wishes the newspapers to stop writing so many articles about he goes here, there, stays, and feels happy at Tottenham but didn't confirm his agent's word that he should go to bigger club to win titles. In matter of fact he has a big chance to win the Carling Cup and the Uefa cup.So be happy-he's probably not coming and all the things from the world football media was wrong and just rumours. But in my opinion Berbatov is far better than Tevez and Saha and he shows it.
As far as I know,Nistelroy had a few conflicts with Ronaldo, many sh*ts were written in the newspapers about that(he's agent even said that Ga*stelroy smashed Ronaldo and made him crying).Keano left may be for some of the same reasons-he atacked the players trough MUTV and I read recently that he was atacking especially Ronaldo and the door was shown to him.But when Berbatov said-the defenders of our team are terrible,or fight with one of his team-mates?I don't remember that.Only a few silly rumours that he was arrogant wanted more money, and bullsh*t like this. Edit : Today Berbatov also said that he doesn't think for sure that he costs 30 million pounds so you can't write that he thinks he's something more than what he is. I just read this article from Manchester Evening News. I think you'll find it interesting.
Glazers prepared to pay for Berbatov Stuart Mathieson 7/ 1/2008 THE Glazer family are prepared to fund a swoop for £30m-rated Dimitar Berbatov if Sir Alex Ferguson wants to fight Chelsea for the coveted Bulgarian striker. Tottenham, who are insisting that Berbatov must remain at White Hart Lane - at least until the end of the season, have nevertheless prepared the ground for the striker's eventual exit. They have drawn up a new contract for Jermain Defoe and are lining up an end-of-season move for Valencia's David Villa. United boss Fergie has publicly said that there will be no incoming Old Trafford business this month but he is monitoring the Berbatov situation. But the firm stance from Spurs - though manager Juande Ramos teased suitors by suggesting it would take a British record to prise Berbatov away - adds to the notion that the striker won't be on the Reds' radar until May. Ferguson doesn't want to indulge in mid-season inflated transfer prices but he remains a keen Berbatov fan and a summer pursuit looks inevitable. However, if moneybags Chelsea attempt to steal a march in the remaining 25 days of the transfer window, then Fergie may decide to act. He has already proved that if he is in danger of being beaten to a priority target then he'll move quickly rather than risk losing the player. In 2004, United were happy to let Wayne Rooney remain at Everton but when Newcastle put in a bid to the Goodison club the Reds moved swiftly and outbid the Geordies with a £30m transfer package. United are expected to announce profits in excess of £75m later this month - so the funds are in place should the Berbatov situation flare up. Seems like he's there for the taking if Sir Alex wants.

it would be a great ...excellent addition to our squad...but...i realy don't think he'll come, but he'll want a starting role at United, and we already have the greatest partnership in the world, yes...TEVEZ & ROONEY...and he won't be accepting a rezerve position...who knows?..i would love him at United, but i don;t know how adequate to the team would be this transfer
